In the early hours of November 1, rumors circulated on social media, that Migos rapper Takeoff, was shot and killed on Houston. There was also speculation that he may have been shot, as a result of a dice game gone wrong. Photos and videos of what appeared to be Takeoff deceased, also unfortunately began to go viral.

However, sources close to TMZ are now confirming that Takeoff has in fact, passed away. He was only 28. According to reports, the shooting occurred after 2:30AM, at 810 Billiards & Bowling Houston. Two others were shot, and sent to a local hospital.

Takeoff and Quavo were also shooting dice at this bowling alley. Then, some sort of altercation went down, and someone began to fire shots, as Takeoff got caught in the middle of it. He’s said to have been shot near his head. As a result, police went on to pronounce him dead at the scene.

Photos have also surfaced of Quavo near Takeoff, asking others in the area to reach out for assistance. Quavo was rumored to have been shot as well, but that thankfully wasn’t the case.

This devastating news comes almost a month after Quavo and Takeoff released their “Only Built For Infinity Links” album. This was a year where there were Migos breakup rumors, as Offset also ventured into more solo music. Quavo, Offset and Takeoff initially became stars in the summer of 2013, when their “Versace” remix with Drake exploded onto the scene.
