On Tuesday, Quavo hosted the inaugural Rocket Foundation Summit in his hometown of Atlanta. Moreover, he was also joined by Vice President Harris, as this event was held to address gun violence in America. This initiative by Quavo comes after his late nephew and fellow former Migos member Takeoff was shot and killed in Houston, in late 2022.

Furthermore, Takeoff was also honored in a major way, at the Rocket Foundation Summit. He received his own day, as this also comes on his birthday, as he would’ve turned 30. This day was made official by Rep. Inga Willis and Atlanta City Council member Jason Winston.

Last week, Quavo also released his fourth single of the year. This was “Mink,” as the visuals for it were also included. On this record, many received plenty of throwback Migos vibes, as Quavo began releasing more solo music, in 2023. The end of last summer also saw him release his “Rocket Power” album, which was scatter Takeoff.
