So much was made out of Gucci Mane’s Charlamagne Tha God interview, because of his words about Angela Yee. It’s easy to overlook how that conversation is actually an hour long. There was a lot discussed in that interview.
Gucci Mane actually spoke to Charlamagne Tha God in promotion of his Woptober 2 album. Plenty of big names show up on the album, including Megan Thee Stallion and NBA Youngboy. Also featured on the album is Takeoff and Quavo.
Back in April, Gucci Mane shared on IG how he bought Migos their first chains, and Takeoff called him out. Accusing Gucci of lying, the two had a public spat, which Gucci mentioned to Charlamagne. He said Migos cut him off, right after, but that it’s all good, and they’re on his album.
Since then, Takeoff has promoted the album, letting it be known that Gucci Mane is his “dawg.”
