Takeoff shooting suspect requests $2 million bail to be lowered
It’s been a few weeks now, since Houston police arrested 33-year-old Patrick Xavier Clark, due to being a suspect in Takeoff’s murder. The Migos rapper was shot and killed in the middle of a shootout outside of a Houston bowling alley, in the early hours of November 1. That went down after Quavo got into an argument with a group of men, while losing a dice game.
Clark went on to be placed into police custody, as his bail is set at $2 million. At the time, it was also reported that he purchased an expedited passport, in an attempt to flee to Mexico. He’s also been granted $5,000 by a judge, in order to be able to afford a private investigator.
However, Clark is now also attempting to get his bail amount lowered. According to TMZ, attorney Carl Moore said a motion was filed on Monday, to do so. Clark added that he believes that a professional bondsman can help him get the $100k price paid for, instead.
Clark went on to add that he would live with his parents, should he get released. He’d previously been doing so. His attorneys even stated that he would wear a GPS monitor and abide by any curfew. Surrendering his passport and following any no-contact order would also be in play.
