Takeoff’s mother sues owners of Houston bowling alley where fatal shooting occurred

Takeoff’s mother sues Houston bowling alley for fatal shooting

It’s been over seven months now, since Migos rapper Takeoff was shot and killed outside of a Houston bowling alley. This was 810 Billiards and Bowling, as a heated dice game initially ensued. Quavo was participating in that as well, as shots were soon fired. As a result, Takeoff ended up being caught in the middle of that, and went on to lose his life, that night.

Meanwhile, the suspect of Takeoff’s death was officially indicated last month. That is Patrick Xavier Clark, who was initially arrested on December 1. However, in December, he went on to be able to post $1 million bond. As a result, Clark is said to be a DJ in the Houston area, and attempted to purchase an expedited passport in order to travel to Mexico, following the aftermath of the shooting.

Now, Takeoff’s family is finally taking legal matters into action. According to Rolling Stone, his mother, Tatiana Davenport, is now suing 810 Billiards & Bowling. This is a wrongful death lawsuit, and was filed on Wednesday, inside a Harris County, Texas district court. Therefore, the lawsuit cites how there was a lack of security and other proper safety precautions at the venue, in the early hours of November 1.

There was also supposedly a knowlege of crimes in the area, but nothing was done to help prevent that at that bowling alley. They’re also accused of knowing that crime would be committed there, due to more celebrities attending, that night. Furthermore, various forms of negligence were cited.
