Opposite ends of the hip hop spectrum, or as it would seem, would be Talib Kweli and breakout Chicago rapper, Chief Keef. One thing is evident, though, when it comes to the hip hop community and the music. Although the competition is fierce and known to get violent, rappers support each other even if their styles are opposite.
Talib Kweli is more similar of an artist to Lupe Fiasco, who famously admitted he was more worried about than impressed with Chief Keef. A lot went down between the two rappers, before their unresolved, publicly, ending. But, both continued to have success over the past year.
Karmaloop TV recently featured Talib Kweli in their “Tough Questions” segment. Indeed the questions got tough when Talib Kweli was asked about Chief Keef. More than likely, the interviewers felt they were in store for the opposite of what they got. Instead of criticizing Chief Keef, Talib Kweli came to his defense.
