Everything the Kardashian family says or does comes under scrutiny. Yesterday, the sisters and their mom, Kris Jenner, did an interview with Variety. The interview begins with Kim Kardashian telling people to get off their behinds and work. As expected, there was a lot of backlash behind Kim’s comments.
Kim Kardashian infamously rose to fame with the video of her and Ray J that was put out. At the time, it was the biggest video leak of all time. Whereas videos like that would normally hurt a person, it built Kim Kardashian’s career. Over a sixteen year span, she went from reality TV, which made her a millionaire, into beauty products, which have made her a billionaire.
Despite Kim Kardashian being a success story, how she did it is a turnoff to many. Then, there is her whole relationship with Kanye West, which has its own drama, that people find to be too much. Add to that how the Kardashians promote themselves and everything gets taken as a joke. While Kim Kardashian did offer motivating words, people didn’t appreciate the source. Tamar Braxton cashed right in on this, posting on Twitter that she needs to get off her behind, and do something, cashing in on the joke.
