There is a real movement going on, whether people want to acknowledge it or not. The 2016 elections did usher in a new era, but not just one. Minorities have come out in droves to make sure their voices are heard.

Feminist movements have put a record number of females in Congress, defeating close to 40 incumbents in 2018. Also, there were the historic candidacies of Andrew Gillum, in Florida, and Stacey Abrams, in the state of Georgia. Those runs came up short, but set the precedent.

Tamika Mallory is a voice in this new movement and she recently made an appearance on “The View,” where she and Meghan McCain faced off. When she visited “The Breakfast Club,” Tamika Mallory spoke about this with DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God. Mallory also discussed The Women’s March and change.
