It’s no secret that the mainstream media has no love for Chris Brown, despite his growth. Forever, they will see the Rihanna incident and not them making peace. Furthermore, they don’t see Chris Brown helping the likes of Big Sean, Tyga, and Sevyn Streeter gain fame.
Outside of this, Chris Brown helped Busta Rhymes and SWV gain mainstream looks in 2011. So, with the Baylee Curran situation, he has little mainstream support. Those within the hip hop and R&B community are with him, however.
Yesterday, Tank questioned why this was the case and directly called out Perez Hilton, one of, if not the, leading blogger. Calling Hilton a “journalist,” Tank gave him a good laugh, as he questioned when he ever was a journalist. The two went back and forth on Twitter, before Hilton asked if Tank was gay.
