Every year, Black Friday is a major event for shoppers, and the internet. However, over the years, many things have changed. As a result, the Black Friday lines are not what they used to be. Since 2020, the crowds simply are not the same. Over this weekend, a woman ended up exposing Target for not being truthful about the Black Friday sale they were running.
Target was close to going out of business, ten years ago. In 2013, the company filed for bankruptcy, and it wasn’t looking good for them. However, Target overhauled their business, and they invested in upgrading their stores. As a result, Target has rebranded as a high end discount store. Their clothing has massively improved. So, it has become an alternative to Walmart, as opposed to a competitor.
While Target has become one of the top discount stores, it’s not without flaws. This year, a woman ended up exposing Target over the discounts they advertised. A woman went into the store and showed a sign saying a product was selling for $429.99. However, the woman went into the sign, and pulled out the old sign, which also said $429.99. As a result, it became clear there was no true discount taking place.
