Given the topics trending on Twitter, fans know how “Power” ended, with the leaked episode remaining the series finale. In the end, Tariq (Michael Rainey, Jr.) did it. The fans turned on him, all the way back in season three, but he lived, as Raina (Donshea Hopkins) died.
Like Tariq told Ghost (Omari Hardwick), he is him, and he proved it, when he killed him. Though he and Tasha (Naturi Naughton) had a plan, it fell through, when Dre (Rotimi) died. The backup plan to set up Q (Tyrone Marshall Brown) backfired, when he snitched.
Ultimately, that left Tasha being arrested, with her telling Tariq to go to school, so he can inherit Ghost’s fortune. Also, the set up for “Power: Book II” was in place, with Mary J. Blige and Method Man being key players. While people knew about Mary, Meth was a surprise, and fans are saying it’s “All I Need” (get it?)
