Despite breaking up well over a year ago and DMX having several children outside of their marriage, X has admitted he will always love his wife, Tashera Simmons. When their marriage was good, it was great, and DMX was sober. But, having a hard time adjusting to his fortune and fame, DMX returned to his drug use and trashed his marriage. Tashera Simmons admitted she will also always love DMX, but she could not stand by and watch him ruin his life.
At one point, DMX had gotten engaged to one of his mistresses, and the other of two of his children, but it was revealed, last summer, that the two are no longer together. His former fiancee was speaking to the media, discussing a DMX reality show and their impending marriage. However, DMX revealed the two had not been together for some time and he denied a new reality show being in the works. But, X did reunite with his wife and will be a part of VH1’s “Couple’s Therapy.”
The Source recently caught up with Tashera Simmons and she discussed the “Couple’s Therapy” series.
