A major part of Taylor Swift’s career has been defined by the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. It does not feel like it already has been four years, but Taylor Swift won the award for Video of the Year over Beyonce. Kanye West casually walked on stage in the middle of Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech to say Beyonce had the best video of all-time.
Four years later, people are still quoting Kanye West when he said “imma let you finish but…” Kanye West has since turned it into a major joke and he has also become friends with Taylor Swift. But, this last incident was too easy and funny for Taylor Swift to pass up.
Kanye West is back in the headlines because Kim Kardashian just gave birth to their baby girl. This officially gives Blue Ivy Carter a lifelong playmate and it gives Taylor Swift a chance to get back at her good friend. Taking to Twitter, Taylor Swift said “imma let you finish, but Beyonce had the best birth of all-time.”
