Taylor Swift’s new album, “1989,” added to Jay-Z’s music streaming service, TIDAL

1989Relations between Roc Nation and Taylor Swift have been tense, to say the least, until recently. Initially, there was no connection between the two entities. But, Kanye West introduced himself in a bold way during his first meeting with Taylor Swift at the 2009 VMAs.

Despite how hard the media tried, Taylor Swift and Kanye West actually ended up becoming friends. Given how much they have recorded, it should be no surprise if Taylor Swift winds up on So Help Me God. Even if there was tension between the two, Jay-Z is still going to handle business.

Early in the year, Jay-Z purchased a music streaming service for $56 million. This service, aimed to rival Spotify and Pandora, made a major splash today. Among the music they are now streaming Taylor Swift’s latest album, 1989, which dropped last year.
