Quickly, “Insecure” is becoming the number one comedy in the hip hop world. The creation of Issa Rae is bringing humor back, as dramas have dominated the past five years. But, “Insecure” is definitely the quirky comedy urban entertainment has missed.
In particular, Tasha (Dominique Perry) has become a hit with the fans, this season. Not to be outdone, her counterpart, Lawrence (Jay Ellis), also has his following. The two are definitely a modern day super couple and their fans are making sure of it.
During tonight’s “Insecure,” the Tasha and Lawrence fan bases faced off over this potential couple. Dominating Twitter, the #LawrenceHive definitely made noise, but #TeamTasha did, too. A good number of people assumed #TeamTasha was for “Power’s” Tasha (Naturi Naughton), as she also had a powerful night, hooking up with Silver (Brandon Victor Dixon), but this was all about Tasha and Lawrence’s split.
