Many music fans all over the world, still view 2Pac as one of the greatest artists of all-time. Pac only released four albums while alive, but plenty of fans recognize how great and impactful while he was still in the world, as well as when he passed.

Now, a new 2Pac docuseries is also on the way. This project is titled “Dear Mama,” as it explained the relationship between Pac and his late mother, Afeni Shakur. Afeni was remembered as an activist, who was heavily involved in the Black Panther party, in the 1970s.

Afeni passed away back in May 2016. 2Pac was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting, after leaving a Mike Tyson fight in September 1996, in Las Vegas.

Dear Mama will air on FX, this fall. It is also directed by Allen Hughes. The teaser trailer for it is now here, as Afeni is narrating it, and described how she’d raise 2Pac.

“It was my responsibility to teach 2Pac how to survive his reality,” Shakur said. “So, 2Pac do something wrong, take your little sorry self in that corner, get the New York Times and let’s have a debate about it. Not a discussion, a debate. Let me hear what your idea is, stand up, defend it.”
