Throughout his career, Tech N9ne has been breaking records. Unlike most rappers, Tech N9ne chose to sign with an independent record label, when it was the unpopular choice. While he did not receive the publicity of other rappers, he is among the wealthiest. In 2011, Tech N9ne even enjoyed a nice run with both record sales and overall publicity.
After a good run last year, Tech N9ne is preparing to go on a similar run in 2012. During an interview with XXL, Tech N9ne announced he would be a part of the Hostile Takeover tour. The tour is set to begin in March and will have 90 shows. Other artists who will be a part of the tour include Machine Gun Kelly, Prozak, and Stevie Stone.
