Tekashi 6ix9ine has been receiving the “snitch” label in hip-hop since September 2019. This is after he revealed in court the criminal activities of the Nine Trey Bloods. He had been associated that gang for a while but that stopped in the summer of 2018 when they robbed and kidnapped the Brooklyn rapper in his hometown. This move in court helped 6ix9ine avoid 47 years in prison and only got a 2-year sentence which was given credit for time served.

6ix9ine recently stopped by TMZ Live and explained how Nine Trey’s actions against him didn’t cause him to be a snitch. 6ix9ine also emphasized how loyalty is key. He even revealed how being kidnapped isn’t being loyal. 6ix9ine also added that he wasn’t kidnapped by any of the rappers he beefed with in 2018 unlike Nine Trey.

6ix9ine even went on to say that what he did wasn’t snitching but instead, it was smart. God also supposedly made this situation happen so 6ix9ine could see the “snakes in the grass” ahead of him. There was also a very funny moment in this interview where 6ix9ine was asked by he keeps looking over his shoulder and it was supposedly because he was ready to order his food from Dunkin Donuts.
