Hip-hop lost the life of another one of its rising stars as Chicago’s King Von was shot and killed last night in Atlanta. This was outside Monaco Hookah Lounge in the downtown area. This was caused as a result of a shootout between Von and Quando Rondo’s crew.
Police were suspected of shooting Von but his manager and TMZ also reported that that wasn’t the case. Police did open fire on gunmen, though. Six people ended up being shot with three dying from their injuries, which included Von.
Tekashi 6ix9ine has been very quiet on social media for the last two months but ended up speaking on Von’s death disrespectfully. Around the time that 6ix9ine put out this ‘Tattle Tales’ album in early September, he was beefing with multiple Chicago artists, which included Von, Lil Durk, and Lil Reese. 6ix9ine also went to Chicago and trolled Durk and Reese.
In a comment under DJ Akademiks Instagram post which showed Durk finding out about the shooting while on live, 6ix9ine put a laughing emoji under it. Nobody is surprised by this move by 6ix9ine as trolling is what he does best on social media. The question now though is if someone will go after the Brooklyn rapper for their comment.
