Over a week ago, Tekashi 6ix9ine was on Instagram Live while walking around New York. He was saying how he keeps security with him because he doesn’t wanna end up like people’s favorite rappers with bullet holes in their heads. He also said “Stop dissing me from hell“ Ana many took it as a shot against the late Pop Smoke. Smoke’s “Gangstas” and “Snitching” featuring Future and Quavo records from his ‘Shoot For The Stars Aim For The Moon’ album were looked at as shots at 6ix9ine, though.
6ix9ine now appears to shut down any speculation of hate towards Smoke. He took to his Instagram Story today to post a photo of Smoke with the caption “I wish you was still here. Rest up. The caption in the photo said “Long live Pop Smoke.”
Many rappers at this point such as Meek Mill, The Game and Snoop Dogg won’t work with 6ix9ine dud them feeling that he’s a snitch. This was due to him revealing the activities of the Nine Trey Bloods in court last September after they kidnapped him in his hometown of Brooklyn in 2018. 6ix9ine ended up getting two years in prison in his racketeering case but was given credit for time served. He got released from prison in April due to coronavirus concerns and finished his sentence on house arrest which ended over a week ago.
