Tekashi 6ix9ine says attack on him at LA Fitness was “cowardly”

It’s been a few weeks now, since Tekashi 6ix9ine was attacked at an LA Fitness gym, in the Palm Beach area of South Florida. This incident went down by the sauna area of the gym, as three men were seen punching and kicking on the Brooklyn rapper.

As a result, 6ix9ine was seen with injuries to his face, as he went on to be treated at a local hospital. Last week, three men were also arrested and charged for this incident. They’ve since been identified as Rafael Medina, Jr., Octavious Medina and Anthony Maldonado.

Therefore, on Instagram, 6ix9ine added that he hasn’t been using security around him over the past two years. This was also the case at the LA Fitness.

Meanwhile, in a new interview with NBC Miami, 6ix9ine revealed that he spent several days at a hospital. He described the attack on him as “cowardly,” and acknowledges that the video is difficult to watch.

“For me, it was tough to watch because it was so unexpected… It’s cowardly. I think it was cowardly, I think it was opportunistic But again, I’m not mad because I know that, in the streets, there’s no rules. I’m lost for words because you can’t blame them. They saw an opportunity and they took it.”

In the days after his attack, 6ix9ine released his new single, “Bori.” This comes less than a year after putting out his “GINÉ” single.
