Cuban government closes internet after 6ix9ine throws money
Tekashi 6ix9ine has been off the radar for several years now, after being one of the most boastful rappers in the industry, from 2018-2021. The Brooklyn rapper was also known for being involved with various beefs, as well as being in prison from October 2018-December 2019, for a RICO case.
6ix9ine would go on to to be released from house arrest in April 2020, after receiving a much shorter sentence, due to a plea deal. 2020 went on to see him scoring his first number one hit, with “TROLLZ.” 6ix9ine also had a high-profile feud with Meek Mill, in early 2021.
However, 6ix9ine is now trending online, for a very interesting situation. He recently took a trip to Cuba, where he was seen throwing money to fans. As a result, the government saw this video go viral, and internet access was reportedly soon shut down.
Therefore, this was unavailable for several hours, in order to prevent the video of 6ix9ine throwing money, to be shared even further. The Cuban government has since reportedly labeled his actions as “humiliating” and “shameful.”
