Tekashi 6ix9ine Wants to Leave Home Town of Brooklyn After Release From Prison This Year; Planning To Add “Fort Knox-Like Security” Around Him After Former Bodyguards Said No Amount of Money Can Get Them To Protect Him

Tekashi 6ix9ine was sentenced to two years in prison in December for his federal racketeering charges along with crimes committed with the Nine Trey Bloods. Luckily for the Brooklyn rapper though, the judge gave him time served for 14 months so he’s due to be released in August. This is all after he spilled the tea on what crimes Nine Trey committed and detailed the story of how they kidnapped and robbed him of his jewelry in the summer of 2018.

6ix9ine is incarcerated in New York and apparently wants to leave his home town of Brooklyn once he gets released, according to TMZ. Safety is cited as the main reason but this won’t happen unless it’s approved by the federal probation department. He also wants to move out of state with family members.

6ix9ine is now trying to put security around him in place he wants ex-law enforcement officers or ex-military officials who have licensed guns. He reportedly wants “Fort Knox-like security.” Regarding his former bodyguards, they’ve made it clear that no amount of money can get them to work with 6ix9ine. He also doesn’t want to be in any witness protection program.

Music wise, 6ix9ine doesn’t plan on doing shows right away but will be locked in the studio. Back in October, he signed a $10 million record deal with west coast-based record label, 10k Projects.
