Tekashi 6ix9ine Was Hospitalized This Week Due To Overdosing on Caffeine and Weight Loss Pills

Tekashi 6ix9ine has been very quiet on social media since the release of his sophomore album, ‘Tattle Tales,’ in September. This project only sold 53,000 units in its first week but still debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart. At the time, he was also beefing with Lil Durk and Lil Reese.

This week was a rough one for the Brooklyn rapper as well as according to The Shade Room, he was hospitalized two days ago due to overdosing on caffeine as well as weight loss pills. This occurred in Florida as he was sitting in front of a computer and he started to sweat heavily due to the caffeine from a McDonald’s coffee.

6ix9ine also said to TSR that these were two Hydroxycut weight loss pills instead of the recommended one pill per day. His excuse here was that he only used this drug because he could get hit with a probation violation for certain drug uses. He added that he struggled with his weight after getting out of prison in April as he put on as much as 200 pounds. 6ix9ine was able to get down to 177, though.

6ix9ine’s status at the moment though is that he’s at home and doing fine.
