Tekashi 6ix9ine’s “Gooba” Single Officially Goes Gold As New Single Will Be Released This Week

Tekashi 6ix9ine has been one of the most trending topics in hip-hop as of late as it all started when he got out of prison early last month due to coronavirus concerns. He then went on Instagram Live as it set a viewer record at 2 million. His “Gooba” single was released at the same time in addition to the music video. It has since accumulated a whopping 237 million views.

Gooba continues to build a lot of momentum as it has now been certified gold by the RIAA, according to Chart Data. This is after it reached 500,000 units. This has been a controversial record popularity wise as 6ix9ine went off on Billboard for it not debuting at No. 1. That went to Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande’s “Stuck With U” single. He believed that Billboard accepted payments by them in six credit cards to receive more streams.

Now, 6ix9ine has a new single dropping this Friday titled “Trollz.” This is after he let fans decide the song title with the most liked comment on one of his Instagram posts. The music video is also expected to be released as well.
