Tekashi 6ix9ine’s “GOOBA” Single Officially Goes Platinum The Same Day That “TROLLZ” Became No. 1 Song in The Country

Tekashi 6ix9ine definitely had a Monday to remember. Today his “TROLLZ” single feat. Nicki Minaj which was released a week ago debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This becomes 6ix9ine’s first top song and Minaj’s second.

6ix9ine previously released his “GOOBA” single last month as it was his first single since getting out of prison in April. At the time of its release, he broke Instagram’s IG Live viewer story record as as well at 1.5 million. GOOBA debuted at No. 3 but that wasn’t good enough for him as he accused Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber’s teams of using six credit cards to pay for streams to get the No.1  spot.

GOOBA continues to win big though as it has now been certified platinum by the RIAA, according to Chart Data. This is after reaching 1 million units in sales. 6ix9ine has already claimed how TROLLZ went No. 1 while still believing that Billboard tried to blackball him. Expect him to be even more arrogant when he finds out that GOOBA is now platinum. 6ix9ine has been recording his new album as well.
