Tems new album Born In The Wild is coming in May
With Summer just around the corner, new music and sounds are ready to set the tone for the season. One sound that fits perfectly for sunny skies and warm weather is the phenomenal Tems. The singer, songwriter and producer is finally releasing her new debut album Born In The Wild. This album is Tems first full length studio album, and is expected to hit streaming services in May of this year.
Since her breakout feature on WizKid’s “Essence” single, Tems influence in mainstream music is reaching incredible heights. Releasing two EP’s For Broken Ears (2020) and If Orange was a Place (2021), she effortlessly is dominating the billboard charts. Tems fanbase expanded into the hip-hop world when her vocals were featured on Future’s “Wait For U” single alongside Drake. That single won Tems her first Grammy Award for Best Melodic Rap Performance. Showing off her songwriting skills, Tems is also credited as a writer on Rihanna’s “Life Me Up” single.
Having already earned multiple awards and accolades, its almost shocking that this is Tems first official album. The Nigerian native gave fans a teaser video for the new album earlier this week. The clip shows images of her hometown as she pays tribute to her childhood.
