Tems reaches gold eligibility with “Me & U” single
Last week, Tems released her highly anticipated debuut studio album, “Born In The Wild.” 18 songs were released, which were led by singles such as “Love Me JeJe” and “Me & U.” Moreover, Tems also collaborated with J. Cole and Asake. Born In The Wild had been in the works for a long time, as Tems’ previous project was her “If Orange Was A Place” EP, back in the fall of 2021.
Meanwhile, Tems has reached another major mark, with her latest singles. She is now at gold eligibility in the US with “Me & U,” This comes after selling over 500,000 units, according to Chart Data. The video for Me & U on YouTube is also currently at over 34 million views.
Tems’ Born In The Wild World Tour also kicked off on June 12, in London. This will last until November 15, where it concludes in Sydney, Australia. The dates in Africa for October 19 and 25 will also be announced at a later date. North American dates will officially begin on August 22, in Miami Beach, FL. Tems initially announced both the album and world tour, in late May.
