Regardless of how some feel about “Empire,” Terrence Howard deserves kudos for his performance as Lucious Lyon. In twelve episodes, he brought intensity and passion to the role. Even though “Empire” has wrapped its first season, people are still talking.
Leading up to the season finale, the cast of “Empire” made appearances in the media. Before the finale, Terrence Howard was doing interviews in promotion of the show. During one interview, Terrence Howard stated his desire to use the N-word on the show, which most rejected.
Terrence Howard recently sat down with “Access Hollywood Live” and he talked about the show. Talking about “Empire” means Terrence Howard had to talk about his devilish role, Lucious Lyon, the man everyone hates, whether they love to or not. He broke down the role Lucious plays and the empire he has built.
