Comedian Kevin Hart is doing major things! The legendary actor decided to give 18 HBCU college students scholarships during the United Negro College Fund dinner Tuesday night.
According to TheShaderoom, Kevin collaborated with bot UNCF and KIPP — Knowledge Is Power Program — to present his $600,000 gift which went to deserving students based on their personal and academic accomplishments.
“I am living proof that if you put your mind to something you can not only achieve it, but you can go above and beyond the expectations of what you thought that you could do,” Hart added. After you open one door, the crazy thing is you find out that there are seven more doors that you could open,” Hart said. “Education is that first door – breeze through this!
