The Game Loses Court Appeal For 2015 Sexual Assault Case; Will Have to Pay Priscilla Rainey $7.13 Milllion in Damages

Back in 2015, The Game had his “She’s Got Game” reality show on VH1 where he was looking for the right woman. One the contestants was Priscilla Rainey, who had accused Game of sexual assault on set. Last year, the Compton rapper lost the lawsuit and was ordered by a judge to pay $7.13 million in damages. He filed an appeal for a new trial and now, a decision has been made.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, that new trial that Game wanted isn’t happening and will have to pay up the $7.13 million in damages. This decision was made by a federal appeals court in Illinois.

Rainey’s original claims were that at the time she was around Game, he was high on drugs and then reached inside her dress. She said that he “forcefully reaching his hand inside her dress to rub her bare vagina and buttocks.” The insults also went Rainey’s way from Game as he said she’s a “thirsty Gatorade mascot of a transvestite.”

Reports stated that Game appealed the initial ruling but the appeals court stood with the lower court’s decision. The primary reason was that Game’s conduct towards Rainey was “deeply reprehensible.” Game has also recently been catching heat for starting a new record label called “Prolific Records” and began selling merchandise. Many feel that he is trying to profit off of Nipsey Hussle’s name despite the two being close friends before he was killed in March.
