In 2004, Ja Rule surprised a lot of people when he got Jadakiss on his “New York” single alongside Fat Joe. The single became an anthem that helped Ja Rule regain a bit of respect in the streets. It also made 50 Cent hate Ja Rule more and enough to also diss Fat Joe and Terror Squad and Jadakiss and The L.O.X.
Fast forward ten years and there is a much different outlook, with 50 Cent now befriending The L.O.X. and shaking hands with Fat Joe. At this point, he has songs out with all of them and supported Styles P’s juice bar. 50 Cent even has had cordial interactions with Ja Rule, showing their maturity.
The L.O.X. are featured on 50 Cent’s upcoming album, Animal Ambition. With the album due this summer, The L.O.X. are making their media rounds to discuss this and their own work. Recently, Angie Martinez hosted Jadakiss, Styles P, and Sheek Louch at Hot 97, where they discussed the old beef with 50 Cent, Mary J. Blige, and much more.
