The Weeknd announces “Live at SoFi Stadium” live album
Last year, The Weeknd finally ventured on his highly anticipated “After Hours Til Dawn” Tour. He was initially supposed to tour in 2020 and 2021, but the pandemic delayed many of those plane. However, 2022 was finally the year that Weeknd got to tour again, following the release of his new “Dawn FM” album. That project went on to debut at number two in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart.
As a result, The Weeknd had stadiums across the world packed out, as many cities had multiple dates included. One of them was Los Angeles, as he performed multiple times at Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium. This is home to the NFL’s Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers.
Weekend recently launched an HBO special about his recent concerts in LA. Therefore, there will also be a live album released, which was from these events, as announced by Weeknd, on Wednesday. This is the “Live at SoFi Stadium” album, which will be coming on March 3. Last week, Weeknd also released the remix for his 2017 “Die For You” single, which featured Ariana Grande.
