One thing is clear about “The Quad,” this is a show that is more than willing to “go there.” The premise of the show as Eva (Anika Noni Rose) sleeping with a student, Jason (Readaric Williams), and she is the school president. This affair ended up costing Eva her marriage.
Another casualty is losing the respect of Symone (Jazz Raycole), her daughter. Thus far, Symone has done everything possible, on campus, to make her mom look bad. During the first episode, Symone went to a wild party and made out with a girl, before passing out.
Tonight’s episode concluded on a controversial note, with Symone being sent a disturbing video. The video shows a man violating Symone, bringing her immediate horror. Immediately, the previews showed defense against the man violating her, saying she wanted it, prompting the #ruffsexorrape hashtag.
