Three 6 Mafia’s Gangsta Boo passes away at 43

Legendary Memphis rapper and Three 6 Mafia member Gangsta Boo suddenly passed away, on Sunday afternoon, according to Fox 13 Memphis. She was reportedly found around 4p.m., as no official cause of death has been found yet.

Fellow Three 6 Mafia member DJ Paul was the first to officially confirm Boo’s death, on Instagram. He posted a photo of Boo passionately DJing at an event. Rappers such as Lil Jon, Duke Deuce, Krayzie Bone and more have already taken to the comments section, to pay their respects to Boo.

Last month, Boo also trended, after appearing on Latto’s new “FTCU” single. That collaboration also included breakout Memphis and Grammy-nominated rapper, GloRilla. As part of Three 6 Mafia, Boo released six studio albums, in total. In her solo career, she put out three. Her last solo album came back in 2003, which was “Enquiring Minds II: “The Soap Opera.” Boo’s last project in general, released back in 2018. This was her “Underground Cassette Tape Music 2” mixtape, with Beatking.
