Tia and Tamera Mowry have become major stars since their original rise to fame. It’s hard to really miss the 1990s, because the 1990s have taken place in a rebirth in the 2010s. Nearly all the 90s celebrities are back, in some way. Whether they are hosting talk shows, doing reality TV, or starring in reboots, they’re back.
In 2006, Tia Mowry returned from a seven-year hiatus for “The Game,” her first major role since “Sister, Sister.” As “The Game” ran until 2015, Tia was in the spotlight, while Tamera was virtually forgotten. However, by 2013, Tamera was back in the spotlight, hosting on “The Real.” The same year, Tia opted to leave her starring role on “The Game.”
Tia and Tamera now enjoy plenty of time back in the spotlight. First, Tia returned to “The Game” for the series finale on BET. Second, she has her “Tia Mowry At Home” series. Seeing how nearly every other 90s show is back, via Netflix, or whatever other outlets, “Sister, Sister” is trying to make a comeback, too. A producer shared this pic on Instagram, saying they’ve held meetings about a reboot.
