TiaCorine announces signing to Interscope Records
Over the past year, TiaCorine has been one of the hottest new artists out of North Carolina. She’s a Winston-Salem native, and initially went viral in 2022, for her breakout “Freaky T” single. Therefore, TiaCorine also went on to sign with buzzing Charlotte-based record label, South Coast Music Group.
Freaky T first appeared on TiaCorine’s “I Can’t Wait” project, in 2022. That contained 15 songs, including appearances from UnoTheActivist, Tony Shhnow, and more. Furthermore, the Freaky T remix also went on to be released this past April, and even included a feature from Latto. In fact, both performed this collaboration at Coachella. Moreover, TiaCorine also performed at Rolling Loud Miami, in July.
Meanwhile, TiaCorine has also just made another major industry move. On Wednesday, she announced that she recently signed with Interscope Records. She took to Instagram to post the announcement, as well as photos taken inside of Interscope’s office.
In TiaCorine’s IG post, she explained how she overcame so many obstacles to reach this point in her career. She added that everything happened how it was supposed to, and it’s now her time.
