This month, NPR’s Tiny Desk series has been showcasing various female artists. This is in honor of Black Music Month. Last weekend, Tems appeared on the platform, and performed songs from her new Born In The Wild” album. Among the other women set to hit the Tiny Desk stage in the month of June, are Chaka Khan, Tierra Whack, Kierra Sheard, Lakecia Benjamin, Meshell Ndegeocello, Brittney Spencer, SWV and Flo Milli.

Meanwhile, Tierra Whack is now the latest star to grace the NPR Tiny Desk stage. The perfomance was released on Friday, as she performed records such as “Flea Market,” “Pretty Ugly,” “Hungry Hippo,” and more.

Tierra Whack’s Tiny Desk performance also comes after she released her long-awaited debut studio album, “World Wide Whack,” in late March. 15 songs were included which were led by singles such as “Chanel Pit,” “27 Club,” and “Shower Song.” Tierra has been establishing herself over the last six years, as one of the most impressive lyricists out of Philadelphia. She’s since collaborted with Alicia Keys, A$AP Rocky, Lil Yachty, Chief Keef, and much more.
