While the tiger is not the “king of the jungle,” it is definitely a dangerous animal. Lately, dangerous animals have gotten very close to humans. In turn, humans are beginning to normalize having close contact with dangerous animals. Of course, people are warned to keep their distance. Many of these animals have a fear of humans. However, with familiarity, they begin viewing humans as a food source. A woman playing with a resting tiger sparked those kinds of concerns.
Clearly, this situation took place at a zoo. This means, it’s more than likely that the woman who was playing with the tiger was a trained professional. Still, her actions may make it seem not dangerous for regular people to play with dangerous animals. Obviously, the average person does not have access to animals like tigers. However, other forms of dangerous and large animals roam in the wild, and it may inspire people to act irresponsibly.
The video of the tiger has gone viral on Twitter, simply due to how calm the tiger was. Even with the woman walking up on the tiger, it continued laying flat on its back. It’s obvious that the tiger was in the middle of some good sleep. As the tiger laid there, the woman recording began rubbing its belly. After that, the woman began playing with the tiger’s nose. It was then that the tiger began to open its eye, waking up.
