Tiger Woods needs his Privacy

Last month, Tiger Woods got into a car accident. For most people a car accident remains a car accident. But, for the highest-paid athlete in the world, it becomes much more than that. Instead of letting him heal within the confines of his own home, the media dug until they found a story. This gives them the chance to finally let Michael Jackson rest.

In only a matter of days, it was revealed that Tiger Woods had been cheating on his wife. That, not drunk driving, was the reason that he was involved in the car accident. She had discovered that he had been cheating on her and she decided to beat him with golf clubs. Because of that, he fled from her.

With marriage, sometimes cheating happens. The image that Tiger Woods has tried to display himself in for all of these years has made it seem as if he is incapable of doing what most men do. Despite the image, Tiger Woods is a man. In being a man, he has accepted his mistakes and he is trying to correct them.

Being in the media, it is all about getting a story. It does not matter whose lives end up being ruined. They hinted at Elin Woods leaving until it finally happened. Now that she is gone, they are taunting Tiger for wanting her back. Most marriages do suffer from infidelity, but a good number of them survive because they go through this in privacy.

Everyone knows who Tiger Woods is as a celebrity, but he is also a regular human being who is trying to save the world that he worked so hard to build. It is because of that why the media needs to stop criminalizing him and allow him to fix things with his wife. The bottom line is, the media needs to give Tiger Woods and his family some privacy.
