This past weekend, Lifetime debuted their biopic on the late, great, Aaliyah. Viewers were disappointed, to say the least, but none of them were as vocal as Timbaland, one of the closest people to Aaliyah. He, just like everyone else watching the movie, expressed his disappointment.
In the years following Aaliyah’s death, Timbaland found music chemistry with Justin Timberlake, but has kept out of the spotlight for some time. If there was one thing to bring him back, it was definitely the Aaliyah movie. Given how vocal he was on social media, of course Timbaland had to do some form of media.
Timbaland paid a visit to DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God at Power 105.1 for “The Breakfast Club.” He talked to the trio about the movie, which has left him greatly disappointed. During the interview, Timbaland also discussed Instagram, his track record, producing new records, and much more.
