Tina Knowles loses $1 million of cash & jewelry in burglary
Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles is unfortunately another celebrity victim of break-ins in the Los Angeles area. According to TMZ, her home was recently broken into, as a massive amount of cash and jewelry were stolen.
The burglars reportedly stole a safe inside of Knowles’ home which contains $1 million worth of cash and jewelry. The safe was reportedly found missing on Wednesday, as that’s presumably when the break-in occurred. However, Knowles wasn’t present at the time, as she was out of town.
Furthermore, it’s also unclear how the burglars broke into the home, and were able to get the entire safe out. This is the second incident to have occurred at Knowles’ home since April, as a man was seen throwing rocks at her mailbox.
Meanwhile, Knowles’ daughter Beyoncé is bringing her “Renaissance” World Tour to North America. A show was held in Toronto on Saturday night, as the first US date is scheduled for July 12, in Philadelphia. This comes after the August 3 show in Pittsburgh was canceled. Beyoncé initially kicked off the world tour in May, in Stockholm, Sweden.
