Last year, Tinashe became a fan favorite on the mainstream level. Before this, Tinashe had a lot of success on the Los Angeles mixtape scene. But, she blew up with the song, “2 On,” featuring ScHoolboy Q and the song became a summer anthem.
In the year since then, Tinashe has continued to deliver strong music. Her latest project was Amethyst, her latest mixtape. With the mixtape out, she is preparing to go on tour with Nicki Minaj, who is currently promoting her album release.
Tinashe stopped by Hot 97 to talk to Nessa and she talked about the new mixtape, Amethyst, which is out now. In the interview, Nicki Minaj was mentioned and Nessa told Tinashe what she was like, which led to a conversation about Tinashe getting the chance to feel on Nicki. She also talked about love, being in a relationship, and much more.
