Starting off from humble beginnings, TLC soon took over the charts. It was the three ladies of T-Boz, Chilli, and Left Eye (may her soul rest in peace) that helped initially put the Atlanta hip hop scene on the map. In 2002, TLC was in the midst of a comeback when they tragically lost Left Eye and things have not been the same since.

Both Drake and J. Cole have a deep appreciation of all that came before them. They have both said they are fans of TLC, as have most fans of music. In the past, TLC was slated to work with such stars as Ja Rule, but this never took place. But, TLC does have quite a bit in the works and the stars of today are involved.

Simply in terms of music, TLC will be working with Drake, J. Cole, and Ne-Yo. On July 27, popular network, VH1, will premiere their Crazy Sexy Cool: The TLC Story biopic. The film will star Keke Palmer, Lil Mama, and Drew Sidora. Chilli and T-Boz also will be performing at the two-day Mixtape Festival that will take place in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
