Philadelphia has enjoyed much success on the strength of Meek Mill and Tone Trump. Though he was not quite as fortunate as Meek Mill, Tone Trump’s rise has been very inspiring. Until recently, Trump was completely independent. Tone Trump relied solely on the internet to release his music and build his fan base, becoming quite popular and living off his music career.
Tone Trump received a co-sign from Young Jeezy, who was a fan of his “Afghan” single. The song gained popularity and Young Jeezy added a verse for the remix. Now, Tone Trump is with Young Jeezy, doing the “Afghan” tour. During this tour, Tone Trump revealed the major label he signed to was none other than Young Jeezy’s CTE.
Officially a member of CTE, Tone Trump recently discussed his single with Young Jeezy. The two have officially come together as label-mates and have new music in the works. Their single should be released later this week. Tone Trump recently spoke with Hip Hop Since 1987 about his new single in the works with Young Jeezy.
