Toosii goes platinum with new “Favorite Song” single
Toosii has been buzzing with another major record, which he released in March. This is his “Favorite Song” single, as it has since reached a new peak on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week, at number 13. On Friday, he also released the remix, which features Khalid. This collaboration came after Toosii performed the single on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” several weeks ago.
Meanwhile, Favorite Song has also reached another major milestone. According to Chart Data, it has now reached platinum eligibility in the US. This comes after selling over 1 million units. Toosii’s Favorite Song music video has also amassed over 25 million views on YouTube.
In addition to the Favorite Song remix coming out this weekend, Toosii also revealed that his debut album is finally arriving on June 2. This will be titled “NAUJOUR,” which is named after his first name. On the cover art, Toosii is seen relaxing, while his mother his braiding his hair. His son is also in the living room with them. On Instagram, Toosii also reflected on his struggles and the process of reaching the success that he’s had, since 2020. 19 tracks are currently scheduled to appear on NAUJOUR.
