Toosii’s single “Favorite Song” reaches Gold status

Toosii’s single Favorite Song is now eligible for Gold in the U.S

 

One of 2023’s top songs just reached a new status in the U.S. Toosii’s chart topping single “Favorite Song” is now eligible for Gold status. Selling more than 500,000 units and raking up more than 9.7 million streams it is his most successful release to date. Hitting streaming platforms in February of 2023, it debuted at number fifty-one on the billboard 200 chart. It also charted number seventeen on the Hot Rnb/Hip-Hop, his highest charting single so far.

Since 2020 Toosii has taken over hip-hop music. Reaching more than 250 million streams worldwide, he’s well on his way to double platinum status. Signing to South Coast Music Group in affiliation with Capitol Records, he’s one of the most versatile artist out. His 2019 single “Red Lights” was an instant success, continuing to earn millions of streams. He followed up with his Who Dat mixtape, and the thirteen track Platinum Heart mixtape. He ended 2022 with his Boys Don’t Cry; Men Do project, this release featured the viral single “Love Is.”

Toosii’s “Favorite Song” is his second single to achieve gold status, following “Love Cycle” featuring Summer Walker. He also toured with Mariah The Scientist on Rod Wave’s Beautiful Mind Tour during most of 2022. The video for “Favorite Song” has already reached 5.1 million views, since the release thirteen days ago.
