Topanga from Boy Meets World shows up at J Cole concert
Every few years, the hip hop world rediscovers Danielle Fishel, who played Topanga, on “Boy Meets World.” A little over a decade ago, Fishel did the Maxim cover and the internet went wild. As a result, Waka Flocka Flame tried to get with her. Surprisingly, Flocka and Danielle hit it off. It turns out, she’s a huge hip hop fan. Recently, J. Cole had a concert and Topanga pulled up on him. She went backstage, saw Cole, and gave him a big hug.
J. Cole is one of the most unlikely rap superstars of all time. First of all, he’s a native of Fayetteville, North Carolina. When Cole was still on the rise, the idea of North Carolina rappers was nothing like what J. Cole has been known for. So, when Cole rose and took over the game, he reinvented the whole idea of a “Southern” rapper. As a result, quietly Cole has enjoyed a twelve year run on top of the game. At a time when few rappers drop albums, Jermaine is out here still delivering classics.
Danielle Fishel will forever be known as Topanga. She originally played the role on “Boy Meets World,” from 1993 until 2000. Fishel later reprised the role for the sequel series, “Girl Meets World,” where she continued as Topanga from 2014 until 2017. There have been talks of another “Boy Meets World” series, but nothing has come to fruition. During Cole’s recent concert, Topanga pulled up. As a result, she has been trending on social media.
