In many recent NBA games, there have been situations involving the clock that have altered games. The most blatant of them all is what took place last night. Last night, the Toronto Raptors played the Sacramento Kings and would lose in overtime.
The Toronto Raptors were a dominant team, last season. They played well and came within a game of being the number one team in the Eastern Conference. Ultimately, the earned the number two spot and they went six with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Last night, the Raptors played a close game against the Kings, but hit a three pointer that led them into overtime. Unfortunately, the Raptors’ basket didn’t count and it cost them the game. Dwayne Casey, the Raptors’ head coach, expressed tremendous frustration with this call, which cost Toronto seeding, as every other team in the East lost this weekend.
