Last month, Tory Lanez was convicted for his 2020 Megan Thee Stallion shooting case. These were for three felonies, which included assault with a semi-automatic firearm, possession of a concealed, unregistered firearm, negligent discharge of a firearm. Tory was recently able to get his sentencing pushed back from late January, to February 28.

Last week, Tory also added David Kenner and Matthew Barhoma to his legal team. Kenner is famously known for representing stars such Snoop Dogg and Suge Knight. Kenner was able to get Knight probation, in a 1990s robbery case. Kenner was also the same one who helped Snoop Dogg get acquitted in his infamous murder case.

However, according to TMZ, Tory is also hiring Jose Baez. Baez is the same one who helped former NFL star Aaron Hernandez beat one of his double murder cases. In addition to that, he also helped Casey Anthony beat her case, involving the murder of her own child.

In his sentencing, Tory could face up to 22 years in prison. He has since been incarcerated at a Los Angeles jail, in the aftermath of his conviction. Megan Thee Stallion has yet to publicly speak out, since the conclusion of the trial.
